- Children: One child, 16 months old
- Schedule: Monday–Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Saturdays, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, are optional for candidates interested in an additional day.
- Hours: 32–40 hours per week
- Pay: $25–$30 per hour

A family in Austin, TX, is seeking a loving, attentive, and dependable full-time nanny to care for their 16-month-old child. The ideal candidate is positive, engaging, and knowledgeable about early childhood development. The family values a calm, respectful home environment and is looking for someone who will take an active role in their child's daily routine, learning, and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care.
- Engage the child in age-appropriate activities, including reading, interactive play, and learning opportunities.
- Take the child on daily walks and encourage outdoor exploration.
- Follow established routines and provide a consistent, screen-free environment.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding the child's daily activities, needs, and development.
- Anticipate the family's needs and provide helpful support throughout the day.
- Keep the child's play areas and spaces tidy.
- Respect the family's home guidelines and preferences.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Has previous professional nanny experience, preferably with toddlers.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys actively engaging with children.
- Is loving, attentive, patient, and knowledgeable about child development.
- Is CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification.
- Is vaccinated.
- Has reliable personal transportation (not ride-share) and a clean driving record.
- Values routine, communication, flexibility, and a calm demeanor.
- Is proactive, helpful, and open-minded.
- Does not smoke or use fragrances, including perfume, scented lotions, or fragranced laundry products.
- Respects the family's home environment and household guidelines.
Important Family Preferences
The family maintains a fragrance-free, smoke-free, and screen-free environment. The nanny must be comfortable following these preferences, including:
- No screen time for the child.
- No shoes worn inside the home.
- Food and drinks kept within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Being mindful of the energy and atmosphere brought into the home
English and Spanish bilingual candidates are a plus!
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
